If you're looking for a Zoo that offers a clean, rural, child friendly experience for your whole family, look no further.

We feature 45 species of tame Exotic and Domestic animals that feed from your hand in an open interactive environment. We are situated on Oshawa's Oak Ridge Moraine.

The Oshawa Zoo is entirely funded by the Visitors that pass through our gates, and the sale of animals to other zoos across Canada.

A fantastic experience for kids and adults alike! If anyone is looking for something to do around Oshawa, the Oshawa Zoo Fun Farm is the place! Plenty of friendly animals, both domestic and exotic. Kids had a wonderful time, got to know and like the animals, especially the babies. They were thrilled to get close to them, be able to feed them and watch them play.

We will certainly be back soon to see how our new friends have grown and take more pictures.

What's new?

Oshawa Zoo wins a Reader's Choice Award!

Durham Parent's Magazine voted the Oshawa Zoo The Best Day Trip in their Reader's Choice awards for the second year in a row! We have always enjoyed our clientele, feeling somehow that we ended up with the nicest people in the Region.
It is good to know that people love our great, tame animals too! Thank you all!

Only One in Canada!

We have had a great time watching Canada's only albino Wallaby grow from a cuddly baby to a mature young adult. (see Powder in our Picture Gallery)
She is now integrated with the rest of the wallaby group and should be showing a baby in her pouch by next May!
