ZOONOOZ Launch
Spring is just around the corner, we hope, and with the coming of spring will be the launch of our new newsletter, ZOONOOZ!
We hope to be able to keep you abreast of any exciting news in the way of births, special events, fund raisers etc. and provide interesting facts about some of our animals.
Every letter will contain a biography of one of our long time zoo critters, including any funny or unusual facts about its birth, growth, personality, and how it fits into our big zoo family.
We want you to get to know our big family on a first name basis!
At the moment we are at the start of our spring baby boom.
Within the next few weeks we will be able to start reporting news on our new babies and orphans on the bottle that you can expect to meet as soon as the grass turns green and we open for the spring.
In the last few days we have had 12 lambs born!
We are expecting 2 baby camels within days!
A young miniature horse is running around!
Soon to come.. llamas, donkeys, mini Dexter cattle, Barbados sheep,…and that is just the next few weeks!
We have one baby that we are keeping a secret for now that is so unusual she is THE ONLY ONE IN CANADA! We’ll keep you guessing for a few more weeks on this unique little girl.
We invite pictures from our guests, which may be used in our website. Every issue we will select a special one and provide a prize to the photographer.
We want to have fun with our online newsletter and look forward to hearing from our guests.
Advice is always something we take to heart from a good customer!
Let us know if there is anything that you would like to see covered in our letter.
If your children have any questions about any of our animals, send them on.
This newsletter may be just the forum to answer them.
I look forward to this new adventure and to seeing you all in this brand new season.
Alan Connell…Director of Oshawa Zoo and Fun Farm.
